Extractions & Wisdom Teeth Removal

Extractions are needed when a tooth can no longer be saved. This could be due to a cracked tooth, extensive decay, infection, or due to severe periodontal gum disease.

During an extraction appointment, the Dentist will take an X-ray of the tooth needing to be extracted. The tooth will then be numbed, taken out, and post-care instructions will be given for the healing of the tooth socket once the tooth is removed.
